As many of you know, this past October I went to Nicaragua with a group from church to work with a Children's Home there. A better week we could not have had - 5 days of nothing but playing with the most lovable kids imaginable. Even the language barrier could not keep us from making some new, young friends.A couple of weeks ago, we found out the government has taken many of these children from the Home. There were over 40 kids when we were there and now there are only 13. They have been placed either back in the bad home situations away from which they were taken or into another facility where they are not receiving the same love, attention, and opportunities.
Those who run the Home are soliciting prayers for the children and for the continuation of the work the Home is doing. They are asking us to pray for them at 6:00pm on Thursdays. So, please keep these adorable little ones in your prayers!
