America's Pastime...All Workday Long

Just in time for Opening Day (although clearly I'm a little late blogging about it) the Shamrocks came down and it's been baseball fever around my work space ever since.

(A couple of explanations - the Bobby Cox poster is from last year's Bobby Cox weekend at Turner Field; the "what doesn't fit" item of blue and orange is a Mets foam finger - on which I've painted to say "Let's BEAT the Mets!"

Most of my decorations gets some comments, but this time was a little different. Primarily because it was a different crowd than the usual commentators. Almost all of the guys in the office had something to say this time, from the annoyance of a Red Sox shirt being included to Houston fans appreciating the old Bagwell jersey and confusion about the abundance of Braves gear for a Texas girl (new guy).

But the best comment may have come from the biggest sports fanatic in our Department, "Best cube decorations...EVER." I'm inclined to agree and really enjoy working in my version of a stadium. Which is why they'll stay up for awhile, maybe throughout the season...or until the next big holiday :)
